OBJECTIVE

To explain to parents how and why their adult or teenage child is in a cult and provide them the opportunity to employ the exclusive Richard Ross deprogramming method ™* which is the best known available means to lead a person, forcefully, if, only, absolutely, necessary, but, in any event, definitively, out of cult-influenced thinking and into an approved religion and belief system** of his parents' or guardian's choosing.

 

EXPERIENCE

I am able to use skill, subterfuge and force when necessary and utilize the best available legal defense methods to avoid prosecution for myself or my clients:

1974: Convicted of a misdemeanor for conspiracy to commit a crime after getting caught in an attempted burglary of a vacant model home. Received probation.

1975: Convicted on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit grand theft after robbing Kay-Bee Enterprises jewelry store in Arizona . Made off with $50,000 worth of diamonds and "precious paraphernalia" after presenting the clerk at the store with a note demanding the diamonds or a bomb would be detonated. There was never a bomb. The clerk was actually a co-conspirator and we worked together to mastermind the entire, successful theft.

After getting caught, I pled guilty, returned the cache, and the court sentenced me to probation.

Late 1970s: Began career as deprogrammer after some certain Jews of a particular sect whose beliefs, I knew, was a fallacy infiltrated a nursing home where my family had placed my beloved grandmother. These certain errant Jews were mistreating her and I exposed the errors of their ways and meted out to them varying degrees of justice.

1980s: Served as one of the foremost deprogrammers for the Cult Awareness Network (CAN). Devised and executed new methods to save young adults, and teenage children from wrong thinking, and fallacious belief systems, as well as extensive work in cult reversal- brainwashing, including collaboration with CAN on the exploration and development of the revolutionary Adult Involuntary Deprogramming TM   

Early 1990s: Selected as on site "consultant" for the FBI in the Branch Davidian cult-stand-off at Waco , Texas . Helped the government bring the long, draining, and costly stand-off to final resolution. Received  media coverage which justified my involvement at the time and was a bastion of support and comfort when I later received unjust criticism that I somehow profited when I helped promote the idea, amongst federal agents, that I knew, because of my extensive knowledge of cults, and background in psychiatry, that a quick, aggressive stroke would be the best way to deal with unstable cult members and would fast fell the ideology of the Branch Davidians, and lead to their ultimate dissolution. One jealous, gentile “scholar” repeatedly criticized my role, as if my financial interests in helping the government end the influence of the Branch Davidians’ cult influenced my own actions - an allegation which I vehemently deny. I might remind the reader that the world has had very little trouble with the Branch Davidians from around the time of my involvement to this day.

En-Mass Deprogramming at Waco, Texas

 

Early 1990s: Teamed up with Cult Awareness Network in the involuntary deprogramming of an 18-year-old boy who did not want to accept the belief systems his parents had mapped out for him. Although ultimately unsuccessful, I was nevertheless charged with unlawful imprisonment, which some of my gentile critics erroneously labeled "kidnapping." I did not kidnap the man. The word "kidnap" implies I attempted to ransom the young man for profit. The only ransom I wanted was to convert him to right thinking; the only money I received was my standard deprogramming fee, paid voluntarily by his parents. I physically restrained the man from leaving only until the three day deprogramming session was completed. In the end, the young man was mainly uninjured and the initial charges against me were dropped then re-filed two years later. The trial ultimately ended in acquittal.

1995: Filed bankruptcy and launched dick-Ross.com. This worthwhile site - a must read for all who seek to know about the growing dangers of cults - contains thousands of articles and documentary proof about the growing number of cults, especially a large number of cults of the Christian persuasion which can be proven to be a fallacy, and a genuine threat to the world. The fact that I filed bankruptcy shows that I have not, as some certain gentiles have alleged, "made a fortune" doing this world-saving work. Mounting legal bills, and, mainly, gentile parents, who are, in this cult -infested world, notably fickle, and not concerned enough about their own children to pay reasonable deprogramming fees when their children are demonstrably in a known cult*** have caused many of my financial strictures.

2003: Launched the Rick A. Ross Institute Inc. which is a web site and home-based office in New Jersey , which is in operation to this day. It is, happily, a New Jersey nonprofit corporation, and donations are gratefully accepted. The institute is dedicated to the study of destructive cults, and how to thwart them; review of controversial groups to see if they should be labeled and exposed as cults; working with government and lobbying efforts to create an official government office to identify cults and take steps to illegitimatize them; to create harsh criminal penalties for cult activities; to expand the legal role, including licensure, and protection of actions of deprogrammers who work for the eradication of government identified cults and secure government funding for members of approved religions and belief systems to employ the Ross Techniques to cure cult brainwashed people whether related to them or not.

Psychiatry is not a cult

 

People have argued my lack of formal education makes me a questionable choice to cure the psychoses of cult- brainwashed people. Actually I have a strong background in psychiatry as I have been treated by more than two dozen pyschiatrists - both court mandated and voluntarily during most of my life, including the all-important formative years. I have spent literally ten thousand hours inside the offices of noted psychiatrists where I, as a patient, was treated 100% successfully for confabulation, depersonalization, echolalia, echopraxia, mood-congruent psychotic features, verbigeration, and various paraphilias including zoophilia.

From various couches and chairs, I observed distinguished psychiatrists in the practice of their profession. Few psychiatrists have seen as many psychiatrists plying their craft as I have. For example, I learned the theory of reverse osmosis - which is used extensively in the Ross technique™, through my understanding of the principles of acculturation difficulty, nudum pactum, affective disorders, confabulation, depersonalization, echolalia, mood-congruent psychotic features, verbigeration and various paraphilias, as well as the psychoses melanosa.

My training in psychiatry allows me to understand and employ psychiatric diagnosis as few deprogrammers can, to help overcome and obliterate the psychoses which create belief in the teachings of cults, and which, in turn, helped me achieve a greater understanding of complexes such as "anti-social," "manipulative behavior," "sexual deviancy maladjustments," mood-congruent psychotic features, confabulation, depersonalization, echolalia, zoophilia and verbigeration, all of which immensely aid in my proven ability to be "as good as any psychiatrist!"****

- My prison work was recognized by B'NAI B'RITH International through a Community Service Citation in 1986.
